Most drownings happen in 60 seconds within 50 feet of shore.

Whenever near water, there should be a ResQ Disc nearby.

With ResQ Disc, you can go from bystander to rescuer without going in the water or onto the ice. If you work, play or drive near any bodies of water, be prepared to save a life.

ResQ Disc is the ultimate water and ice emergency throwable rescue device.
Unlike alternatives, it is aerodynamically designed to fly into wind. The rope is bright yellow, visible to the victim and will float on water. The disc itself has 5 lbs of floatation to keep the victim's head above water and get them to safety. The device is proven to perform and has been used to save thousands of lives by both first responders and private individuals. It's easier to throw, is more accurate, is lighter weight than other options. While not yet required by USCG, it has been recommended as an excellent addition to your boating / other water craft safety equipment. The ResQ Disc is reasonably and comparably priced. While a life ring will keep the victim afloat while waiting for rescue to arrive (if you're able to get it to them and wait several pain-staking minutes), ResQ Disc will actually help you perform the actual rescue - in many cases in under a minute! To our knowledge ResQ Disc is the only device on the market able to be used in near-shore ice rescue as well.
