A woman and her dog were walking by the reservoir when suddenly her dog ran out on the thin ice chasing after a group of ducks. The dog fell through the ice and in a panic the woman went after it. She found herself in the same predicament as her beloved pet and was lucky when a public works employee doing his rounds spotted her. Crews responded Wednesday after a car crashed into a pond in front of City Hall following a two-car crash, according to Port St. Lucie police. According to a release, a vehicle was southbound on Airoso Boulevard when it turned west onto Port St. Lucie Boulevard into the path of another car. The second vehicle lost control and went into the pond in front pf Port St. Lucie City Hall, said Master Sgt. Frank Sabol.
